The Cortisol in Balance System

Privacy Policy

How this project handles contact messages, browser-based tools and third-party services, and how to ask about your information.

1. Information and purposes

Cortisol in Balance publishes under the editorial name Zaron Mitchell. For support and privacy requests, contact contacts@lomalindaliving.com.

If you email us, we receive the sender address, message and any information you choose to include. We use that information to respond, address access or purchase questions, consider corrections and handle privacy requests.

The contact page has an active form that collects your email address, selected topic and message, plus your name if you choose to provide it. When you submit the form, these details are processed by the website and sent to contacts@lomalindaliving.com, which forwards through ImprovMX to our Gmail support inbox. We use them to reply, help with product or purchase questions, review editorial corrections and handle privacy requests. Copies may remain in our support email account and email provider systems.

Hosting, security and other services may process technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, browser information and requested pages to deliver and protect the site. The actual logging configuration and retention periods depend on the deployed services.

Please avoid sending medical reports, detailed health information, passwords or payment-card details to our contact channels.

2. Routine Starter and observation journal

The free tools do not upload journal entries to us. The journal records the date, sleep duration, perceived energy and stress, and a selected habit in the open page.

Without browser saving, entries are lost when the page is closed or reloaded. If you explicitly select browser saving, entries are stored using localStorage on that device and browser. That storage is not encrypted and is not a secure medical record. Pages on the same site may use the same journal storage.

You can delete entries, clear the journal or turn off browser saving. Turning off browser saving removes the stored copy but keeps current entries in the open page. Clearing site data in your browser may also remove saved entries.

CSV export creates a file on your device. You control how it is stored and whether it is shared. The tools do not establish a diagnosis or hormone level.

3. Analytics, advertising and cookies

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Site Kit to understand visits and use of the site. Google may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions. Analytics can use cookies and similar identifiers. Google describes its data practices and privacy controls in the links below.

Google AdSense

Google AdSense code is installed on this website. The site has been submitted for review; installation of the code does not mean that ads have been approved or are currently being displayed.

When advertising is served, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to select ads based on visits to this website and other websites. Other participating ad networks may also place or read cookies and process information for advertising.

You can manage Google's personalized-ad settings in My Ad Center. You can also visit AboutAds choices for choices offered by participating advertising companies. These provider controls do not replace consent where it is required, and opting out of personalization does not necessarily remove all ads or all technical data processing.

Your cookie choices

Browser settings let you block or clear cookies and site data. Blocking some storage can affect website features. Where a regional consent message is shown, use its choices to accept, reject or manage optional data uses and its privacy controls to revisit your decision. Contact us if you cannot find a choice or have a privacy request.

Meta Pixel is not installed by this site. The routine and journal tools do not send your entries to us. Contact messages and journal entries are not intended for advertising or analytics.

4. Providers, purchases and external links

Hostinger provides website hosting and related website services. ImprovMX forwards support emails to Gmail. These providers may process messages or technical information needed to deliver, operate and protect their services. Google provides Analytics and AdSense services as described above. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves requests to Google that may include your IP address and browser information.

If you purchase through Hotmart, payment, account and delivery information are handled through that service under the applicable purchase terms and privacy notice. We may receive order information needed to support your purchase. This site does not ask you to enter full card details in its educational tools.

External clinical sources and provider links open third-party services with their own privacy practices. Third-party processing may involve countries other than the one where you live.

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to provide support, operate or protect the service, comply with applicable obligations or address lawful requests. Advertising-related data processing may be treated as sharing or sale under some privacy laws. The rights and choices available depend on your location and the applicable rules; contact us to exercise a request.

5. Retention and security

Support and purchase records may be retained as needed to respond, maintain relevant records, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Contact form messages are handled as support correspondence in our email account. You may request deletion of support correspondence. We may retain information that is needed for an unresolved request, a purchase dispute or applicable recordkeeping obligations. Google and other providers apply their own retention practices and account controls to information they process.

Journal retention is controlled by your browser choices as described above. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid shared-device browser saving and do not treat this site as a confidential medical portal.

6. Your requests and choices

You can contact us to ask about information you provided, request a correction or deletion, or raise an objection to a use. Depending on your location and applicable law, additional access, portability, restriction, consent-withdrawal or advertising opt-out rights may apply. We may need proportionate verification before acting on a request.

We do not promise that sending an email switches off third-party tracking immediately. Use the browser and provider controls described in section 3, and any regional consent controls displayed on the site, to manage optional tracking choices.

Some information may need to be retained for legitimate support or legal reasons. These statements do not limit rights available under applicable law.

7. Audience and updates

This educational project is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Please contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information.

We will update this notice when our services or practices change. The date above identifies the current version. New uses of information must be communicated and handled as required by applicable law.
